Working Holiday Visa

A Work and Holiday Visa allows young people from eligible countries to work and travel in Australia for up to a year.

To be eligible for a Work and Holiday Visa, you must be between the ages of 18 and 30, have a passport from an eligible country, and meet certain education and financial requirements.

Work and holiday visa allows you to:

  • Stay, leave, and revisit Australia frequently for up to 12 months.
  • Undertake an educational course that has a duration of a maximum of 4 months.
  • Work for each employer in Australia for six months.
  • Apply for Second Work and Holiday Visa after three months in northern Australia in the hospitality, agriculture, tourism, forestry, and fishing industry.
