The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) is a provisional visa for skilled workers who want to live and work in regional areas of Australia. This visa allows skilled workers to live and work in designated regional areas of Australia for up to five years. You must also have a positive skills assessment for your occupation. This visa allows you to work in your nominated occupation and to travel in and out of Australia for the duration of your visa.
